Can I obtain a global patent that protects my invention throughout the world?
There is no such thing as a global patent. Essentially, if you want to patent all over the world, you better be Bill Gates and have the money to file patent applications in each country and you better be in each country. There is no such thing as a worldwide patent. My advice is to figure out where your market is and get a patent there.
