  • Schedule a Confidential Conference

What are confidentiality agreements and how do they relate to intellectual property?

They relate very significantly in my opinion, because what they do is allow a inventor to make private law with another entity, person, business. Such that even without a patent, you have the legal right to sue them for breaching that agreement. It imposes a confidentiality on them such that you can disclose your idea even without a patent. And if they take your idea when you’ve signed this contract with them, then again, you can sue them for a breach of contract. It might be worth more than your whole idea, who knows.
